FROM THE CAMPAIGN MANAGER'S DESK
Hi there,
The last month has been full of history in the making -- from an
unprecedented pandemic election to a nationwide movement against
racial injustice.
If you've been having trouble keeping up with the news, you're
not alone. But, the last few weeks have brought some really good
news for our campaign and New Mexico -- and I wanted to make sure
you didn't miss it.
* Record turnout in New Mexico's primary election. More than
401,000 voters cast ballots in New Mexico's primary election,
with Democrats making up 59% of all primary voters. Democrats
feel the urgency of this election -- and we're fired up!
* HUGE surge in volunteers! Since the June 2 primary, our
campaign has seen a massive increase in volunteers signing up to
make a difference with our campaign. (Ready to join them? Sign up

On Capitol Hill and here at home, Ben Ray has been working on
legislation to move America forward and help our communities
recover from COVID-19. You might have seen these major policy
priorities in the news:
* The HEROES Act would provide hazard pay for frontline workers,
expand paid sick leave, and provide more funding for hospitals
and communities. Ben Ray worked hard to pass this legislation
through the House, and HEROES now sits on Mitch McConnell's desk,
waiting for action.
* The Justice in Policing Act would help improve relationships
between law enforcement and the communities they serve by
increasing accountability and reducing misconduct.
But as Ben Ray fights for change, Republicans are doubling-down
on their commitment to win New Mexico. Earlier this month, the
co-chair of the Republican National Committee published an op-ed
in the Santa Fe New Mexican that highlighted the massive
resources the Trump campaign is pouring into our state and
announced that "Trump is here to win."
There's no doubt that New Mexico is a battleground state this
election -- and we're counting on everyone to step up, get
involved, and help us keep New Mexico blue. Here are three ways
you can make a difference right now:
