Hi,

House Republicans are pushing to vote TODAY on Donald Trump's big, ugly
budget megabill — and we're just one or two votes away from blocking it.

The latest version of the bill would rip health care away from 17 million
people.^1 More than 40 million would see cuts in SNAP food assistance,
nearly half of them kids.^2 It would be one of the largest transfers of
wealth from working families to billionaires in history.

But if Trump loses just *four* Republican votes in the House, this bill is
dead in the water — and there are far more than four Republicans currently
undecided.^3

When the House passed their version of the bill in May, it squeaked
through by only one vote.^4

Since then, the Senate made changes to make this bill EVEN more monstrous.

The Senate has even deeper cuts to Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act,
stripping health care away from 17 million people and making changes that
will force rural hospitals and other community health centers to shut
down.

The bill adds mountains of red tape to Medicaid work requirements, making
it nearly impossible for people who get laid off, are struggling to find
work, or are caring for a child or sick relative to keep their health
care. The Senate version also makes it even harder than the House bill for
states to fill the gap by eliminating one of the key ways that states
finance their Medicaid programs.^5

All these changes are creating enormous new pressure on House members to
vote no.

In addition, the bill would turbo-charge Trump's illegal mass deportation
machine, cut SNAP food assistance (food stamps) by 20 percent, zero out
critical clean energy investments and environmental enforcement, and so
much more.^6

And it's all so they can hand out another $3.3 trillion in tax breaks
overwhelmingly to Trump and his ultra-wealthy Mar-a-Lago buddies.^7

We can still block this horrific bill. It's clear they don't yet have the
votes, and if we can keep ramping up the pressure, we're *this close*
dealing a massive, crushing defeat to Trump's entire agenda.
