Now for the news. ICYMI — this week the Senate passed Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill,” and sent it back to the House for final reconciliation and a vote. Trump and the GOP are sacrificing American families — the most vulnerable American families — to give tax cuts to the wealthiest among us. I cannot overstate how dishonorable and harmful this legislation is, and how strongly I condemn it. My vote is NO.

The GOP is forcing this through, but this isn’t over. My Democratic colleagues and I will not stop fighting.

We will not stop showing up, using our power as lawmakers, expressing our outrage, working through the impossible, and organizing around the change we so desperately need. We are facing an anti-democratic, anti-American, and anti-rule-of-law GOP Trifecta — but we can’t give up, we can’t stay silent, because right now, American lives depend on us.
