As peaceful protesters continue to speak out against systemic racism and after Georgia’s disastrous primary election a couple of weeks ago, I’m more convinced than ever that we need someone like my friend Rev. Raphael Warnock in the Senate.
Rev. Warnock would provide strong, principled leadership in the Senate, John. If you are able, please split a contribution between his campaign and mine today.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately and split between Rev. Raphael Warnock and Thomas Carper:
Rev. Warnock would be the first Black senator to represent Georgia, and after weeks of protests across the country, he’s spoken powerfully about the racism that has plagued our country since its founding.
We need a leader like Rev. Warnock in the Senate who will speak truth to power -- especially after Georgia’s primary. Black Georgians disproportionately experienced obstacles when casting their ballots last week. Voters had to stand in long lines for hours on end only to be met with issues with ballots and voting machines.
We need to strengthen our coalition in the Senate so we can in turn strengthen our fight to protect and expand the voting rights of all Americans -- especially when Republicans continue to use voter suppression tactics to weaken the votes of people of color and minorities.
John: If you can, will you split a contribution between Rev. Warnock’s campaign and mine?
Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is stalling progress in the Senate on critical issues, including voting rights, health care, equal rights, and climate change.
We need to remove McConnell from leadership, and we need to flip the Senate to do it. And according to the Washington Post, Rev. Warnock’s race in Georgia could determine whether we take back the Majority.
That’s why McConnell is giving Rev. Warnock’s opponent the full support of the Republican establishment, and it’s why millions of dollars are pouring into this race.
Rev. Warnock needs our help to fight back -- if you can, split a contribution between his campaign and mine today.
Thank you,
TC
