John,
Donald Trump and the GOP had the nerve to call it a "Big Beautiful Bill." But what the Senate passed yesterday is nothing short of a dangerous, despicable disgrace.
It rips away Medicaid from millions. It slashes nutrition assistance for kids. It guts rural hospitals. It denies healthcare to veterans, seniors, legal immigrants, and working parents — all to fund obscene tax cuts for Trump’s billionaire friends at Mar-a-Lago.
Now it’s headed back to the House for a final vote, and we can't let this monstrosity become law.

This bill goes beyond cruelty. It’s calculated and designed to strip working families of what little safety net they have left. Here's just a sample of what this bill will do if it hits Trump's desk:
- Make permanent Trump's massive tax cuts to billionaires and wealthy corporations -- and explode the deficit by $3.3 trillion
- Strip more than 17 million Americans of their health care, including the biggest cut to Medicaid in history
- Take food assistance away from millions of vulnerable Americans, including children, who will lose access hunger prevention programs
This is the most ruthless, cruel bill I’ve seen in my time in Congress -- and it's no wonder that it's wildly unpopular. Majorities of Americans oppose the bill, and some Republicans in the House are already signaling that they'll vote against it.
That's why I need your help today to keep up this momentum and speak out against this terrible budget bill before it's too late.

Thank you for all that you do.
