Hello — It feels like every other TV and digital ad in Colorado is a misleading attack designed to defeat John Hickenlooper and stop Democrats from flipping this Senate seat blue.
We expected that. And thanks to your support, our campaign is on the air fighting back and telling the truth about John’s record.
But a shady thing started happening this week. Colorado voters are getting “mysterious” and likely illegal text messages sharing falsehoods about John’s record. We think it’s the Republicans trying to meddle in our primary because they know John is beating Cory Gardner in the polls right now.
Look, the people of Colorado will not be fooled. They know John Hickenlooper brought people together to get results: expanding health care to 500,000 more Coloradans, protecting a woman’s right to choose, passing gun safety reforms and a ban on high capacity magazines, and implementing “gold-standard” methane regulations.
But we cannot allow Republican tricks to take away our best chance at flipping a Senate seat for Democrats, which is why we’re asking:
