Rooted in the heart of Minneapolis’ American Indian Cultural Corridor, Four Sisters Farmers Market is a vibrant, Indigenous-centered marketplace that celebrates Native growers, makers, and artists.

 

Operated by the Native American Community Development Institute (NACDI), this nonprofit market is a welcoming space to find fresh, nutritious food, handmade goods, and one-of-a-kind creations from Native artists and entrepreneurs. In 2022, the Fergus Falls Farmers Market moved into a beautiful new location in the Riverfront Pavilion, with shelter on one side, and fresh breezes from the Otter Tail River on the other.

 

Be sure to load up on the ABCs of lake country; A is for aebleskiver, B is for bison, and C is for cookies! Stroll the scenic riverwalk, visit the town’s namesake waterfall, and soak in Fergus’ signature blend of artistic charm and energy.

6. st. paul farmers' market 

Be a part of Minnesota’s historical legacy when you visit the downtown St. Paul Farmers Market, the state’s oldest market with a rich history dating back over 170 years to its founding by a French-Canadian fur trapper. Today, you can catch a pedi-cab from the nearby free parking to this family-friendly spot with over 200 local vendors and everything grown or raised within 100 miles of the city.

 

Given the market’s proximity to CHS Field, Minnesota Children’s Museum, the Science Museum of Minnesota and other attractions, it's an ideal part of a fun-filled downtown family day!
