Serving Pennsylvania's 2nd District

Friend,

As conservatives push forward their dangerous budget proposal, I’m leading the fight against this betrayal of the middle class. The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office confirms it: this plan would strip health care from millions and add trillions to the national debt—all to fund tax giveaways for the ultra-wealthy. I won’t stop fighting it.

Do you support closing hospitals in Philadelphia to help fund tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy?

This fight is personal. The people I represent—just like my parents when I was growing up in Philadelphia—work hard, play by the rules, and just want a better life for their kids. They can’t afford attacks on their health care and peace of mind so that billionaires can take home some extra cash.

These Medicaid cuts will have far-reaching impacts and ripple effects across our entire health care system. New data shows they won’t just take coverage away from families — they’ll put entire hospitals at risk, especially in cities like Philadelphia where many patients rely on Medicaid. This means that if you’re not on the program, you could face longer wait times, reduced services, or even hospital closures.

Here in Washington, I’m fighting every day for our neighbors in Philadelphia and across Pennsylvania. This budget threatens their way of life—and I’m doing everything I can to stop it.

Sincerely,
