Here's why: the pundits, the public, and the election predictors will be watching to see if we have what it takes to beat Nunes. And Nunes will be watching to see if we're vulnerable.

He has enough money to spend circles around us -- fielding attack ads that we'll have to leave unanswered if we don't have the resources to compete.
