Hi,

Happy Father's Day to all our favorite fathers, especially my two personal favorites -- my husband John and my dad Jim.

We wished my dad Happy Father's Day through a closed glass window at the assisted living. Even with COVID at age 92 he is still singing. Praying for strength and that all those years of biking and mountain climbing will get him through.

My dad taught me that service matters and that the journey up the mountain is so much lighter if your backpack is filled with goodwill and good humor. He knew it was his job to shine a light on the truth. As a journalist, he didn't just tolerate the First Amendment, he embraced it and lived it throughout his life.

And my wonderful husband John is a great dad to our daughter Abigail.

To all the fathers out there, thank you.
