***** Kansas Community Support Waiver You Can Now Preview Sections of the Community Support Waiver. Read Them and Tell Us What You Think!
Curious about what will be included in the Community Support Waiver (CSW)? Now, you can preview parts of the CSW on the website. Medicaid waivers are made up of key sections called appendices. Each appendix covers things like who the waiver serves, what services are included, and if there are any restrictions. We’ve created a new page where you can preview drafts of these appendices. Right now, you can preview these appendices: Appendix F: Participant Rights Appendix H: Systems Improvements We’ll keep adding more as they’re ready! Explore what’s in each appendix and provide your feedback. This preview (and the official Public Comment period in the Fall) is your chance to help decide what is in the final CSW. KDADS will review all the feedback you provide.

The Community Support Waiver (CSW) is a new Medicaid waiver program that will assist Kansans with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) who do not need continuous 24-hour support. The CSW will expand community care choices and supplement natural supports to make it easier for anyone to live independently at home. Have questions or comments on the CSW?
