Dear John,

“We must remember that without sovereignty, without a national will, Canada is nothing.”
— Sir John A. Macdonald

On this 158th Canada Day, we’re not just waving flags—we’re standing for something deeper.

Because somewhere along the way, Canada started losing its grip.
Our sovereignty? Bargained away.
Our values? Watered down.
Our leadership? Pandering, polished, and performative.

But not us. The People’s Party of Canada is still fighting—for the Canada our founders envisioned, and our grandchildren deserve. A Canada that’s sovereign, free, and fearless.

And today, that fight takes us straight to Battle River–Crowfoot.

📍 By‑Election Called for August 18 – And You’re Paying for It

That’s right: Pierre Poilievre wanted a seat so badly, he made Mark Carney call a by-election just to satisfy his ego.

Instead of waiting for a seat to be vacated somewhere, Pierre bullied his way into one of the safest Conservative ridings in the country. And Carney, ever the elite enabler, rolled over and made it happen.

The cost? Nearly $900,000 in taxpayer money for a completely unnecessary by-election.

This isn’t leadership—it’s theatre. It’s insider politics dressed up as principle. And it’s exactly why Canadians are fed up.

That’s why our candidate in the previous two elections in this riding, Jonathan Bridges, is once again stepping up under the PPC banner to give voters a real choice—and a real voice.

Today, while the establishment parties play games in Ottawa, Maxime Bernier flew out to Alberta to stand with Jonathan Bridges and dozens of freedom-minded patriots at a Canada Day rally in Battle River–Crowfoot.

Max will be campaigning with Jonathan regularly over the coming weeks—speaking with voters, knocking on doors, and reminding Canadians that there’s still one party left that stands for them.

💥 Chip In $158 for 158 Years of Canada

Campaigns cost money—and we don’t have Pierre’s corporate war chest.

We need signs. We need literature. We need gas in the tank and boots on the ground to make sure Poilievre doesn’t get crowned without a fight.

If you believe Canada deserves better—put your money where your flag is.

Let’s mark this Canada Day not just with celebration—but with action. Because if we don’t fight for Canada—who will?

🛠️ Rebuilding, Region by Region

While the establishment parties scramble to protect their power, we’ve spent the past months doing what they never do: listening to our people on the ground.

Since the election, Max and the HQ team have met with candidates and local organizers across the country—from British Columbia to the Maritimes—to hear what worked, what didn’t, and what comes next.

We’ve heard the hard truths. We’ve seen the raw passion. And we know one thing for sure: This movement isn’t going away.

It’s a tall order—but we’re not afraid of the work. The PPC is the only political party in Canada with the right ideas, the right principles, and the most committed grassroots volunteers in the country.

These conversations aren’t over—we’ll be continuing these meetings all summer long. If you’ve got thoughts, ideas, or feedback, we want to hear from you:

All of this input is feeding into a new Strategic Plan, which will be drafted and released this fall.

We’re building the PPC of the future—and we’re doing it with you.

🔄 Organizational Changes – A New Chapter Begins

As part of this renewal, we want to share some important updates from inside the party:

🎖️ Adrian Dzikowski, our longtime National Coordinator, has stepped down after five years of tireless service. Adrian helped bring structure, accountability, and professionalism to the PPC—launching our constitution, code of conduct, and governance documents last fall. He also championed the shift toward stronger regional associations—something we will continue to build on.

Adrian leaves big shoes to fill—and we thank him for everything he’s done to grow this movement.

👋 We are welcoming Evy Lacroix as our new National Coordinator!
If you were part of the 2025 campaign, you’ve seen Evy’s work:

- She oversaw the Revision Conference;

- Helped rebuild and restructure the PPC organization in Quebec;

- And directed Max’s National Tour during the campaign with skill, heart, and hustle.

She’s already connecting with our candidates, riding teams, and regional leaders—and you’ll be hearing from her soon.

🗳️ A Strong Mandate — But We Need More Voices at the Table

Earlier this month, Max Bernier won his leadership review with the support of nearly 4 out of every 5 voting members.

That’s a strong mandate—and a clear signal that our members believe in Max’s vision and in the mission of the PPC. But we also know a political party isn’t built on one man’s back. It’s built on the efforts of thousands of patriots across the country.

We need more Canadians stepping up, speaking out, and getting involved.

So whether you’ve been with us from the start or you’re just discovering the PPC today—this is your moment. The next chapter of this movement will be written by the people who show up.
