John, as you've probably heard by now, the Republican Senate majority just passed Trump's big ugly tax bill.

I don’t know a single faith that teaches taking healthcare from seniors and the disabled, and food from hungry children to rig the tax code even further for the ultra-wealthy. But that’s what almost every Republican in the Senate just voted to do.

Making Americans hungrier, sicker, and poorer won’t make America great.

My Republican colleagues know this bill is a disaster. That’s why they rewrote it by hand in the final minutes, holding it together with backroom deals and giveaways. They rushed the bill to passage before they could even read the details. I am not exaggerating when I say our nation will be dealing with its consequences for years.

I will do everything I can to protect Delawareans, and people across the country, from the devastating impacts they will suffer because of this reckless bill. In the meantime, one of the best ways we can work toward reversing the damage of this bill is by taking back the Senate in 2026 and enacting leadership that is for the people.

I'm not going to ask you for money right now as we grapple with this loss. Instead, let's take action together. Will you sign this petition and join me as we work toward securing a blue Senate in 2026? >> [link removed]

Thank you,

Chris
