Since day one, Maura’s focus has been on lowering costs for Massachusetts families. The bill the Senate just passed does the opposite:
It will kick millions of people off of their health insurance, including seniors, babies, and veterans — and it will raise the cost of health care for everyone, even if you have private insurance.
It will raise your energy bills.
It will take away vital food assistance from millions of people.
It will drastically cut Pell Grants — forcing college students to pay more.
It will destroy manufacturing and construction jobs across the country.
And it will add $3.3 billion to the national debt.
