Semipalmated Plover, Jean Hall/Audubon Photography Awards
The Maryland Ornithological Society produced this helpful guide to birding hotspots ([link removed]) along the Eastern Shore in Maryland.
Check this resource out and plan a trip this summer to see the shorebirds and learn about the ecosystem there. We recommend visiting a nature center at your destination to participate in programs and enjoy informative exhibits.
**As you enjoy the shorebirds, please remember to share the beach - some species may be nesting, so please give them space, keep your dog leashed and pack out your trash.**
