Featured Fireside Chat: "Play-by-Play: Legislative Updates for Texas Small Businesses"
Governor Abbott launched his Small Business Freedom Council in December 2024 to recommend to the Texas Legislature the elimination of unnecessary rules, fees and regulations that create barriers to small business growth and creation in Texas. And in April, Governor Abbott signed Senate Bill 14 — also known as Texas DOGE — into law creating the Texas Regulatory Efficiency Office. From the Freedom Council's recommendations, this law will ensure Texas remains the best state for businesses of all sizes. But what does that mean to you as a small or aspiring business owner? Hear from the experts, the co-chairs of the Freedom Council, in our featured Fireside Chat.
