John,
Last Sunday, 77 Christians filed into church, preparing for worship, oblivious to the Islamic terror about to strike. Moments later 25 Syrian Christians were slaughtered and 52 traumatically injured by a jihadist suicide bomber.
Christians are being targeted with increasingly devastating persecution. Extremist groups want nothing more than to wipe out Christians.
I just returned from the U.N. in Geneva, where I highlighted the dire plight of Christians in the Congo (DRC) like Déborah, who sang praises to God as ISIS murdered her, and the children who were bludgeoned, raped, or killed simply because they had Christian names.
As believers, it is our sacred duty to defend the persecuted Church. We MUST have urgency.
And just days ago, we filed 14 written submissions to the U.N. on Christian persecution – including in the Middle East and Africa. These filings will hold offending countries accountable and make them answer for not protecting their Christian populations.
For 35 years, the ACLJ has been dedicated to defending Christians. But to continue expanding our global efforts to defend the persecuted, we need resources. TODAY we are launching our 35 Years of Justice Drive. Donate today and have your Tax-Deductible gift DOUBLED to enable us to advocate for the persecuted and save lives.

Before last Sunday's church bombing in Syria, more than 800 people, including Christians, were butchered by ISIS. Syrian pastors were threatened: "Once we have greater control, you will be next." They urgently need our help.

70 Christians in the Congo were recently slaughtered in their house of worship. Others have been burned alive. Yet most of the world shrugs their shoulders. It's devastating.
Not only did we just go to the U.N., but we also sent a letter to Secretary Rubio urging action to recognize the religious targeting of Christians.
The world must know the level of violence and death that suffering believers face because of their faith in Jesus. Lend your voice to this effort.

We have a vital update on our client, a Christian in Pakistan who is facing execution for his faith.
Ahsan's hometown erupted in riots that saw a Muslim mob burn down over 20 churches and 80 Christian homes. In the mayhem, this young Christian was falsely blamed for the blasphemy that motivated the violence. He was arrested and sentenced to execution by hanging in a Pakistani court.
Our legal team JUST filed an urgent petition for his release and argued on his behalf before the court the next day. The Pakistani High Court has asked the clerk's office to schedule a vital hearing.
We're staying in this battle until Ahsan's conviction is overturned and he is set free. Take action with us to save his life.
