Dear JOhn,

I recently told you the story of Peter, a single dad from Uganda, determined that his daughter would finish her education and wouldn’t be married off at 16.

This father’s day, we want to honor men like Peter, uplift them and thank them. Not only for supporting their daughters but also teaching their sons to do the same for their friends, future wives, daughters and granddaughters.

Men should be part of the campaign for equality.

Do you have an inspirational father figure that you’d like to honor this Father’s Day?

It doesn’t have to be a dad. It could be a relative, friend, mentor, teacher, just someone who has stood up for the values of equality between men and women.

I’d like to invite you to join me this Father’s Day and honor their influence by donating to Equality Now. Your gift will show them the importance of their example in creating a just world for women and girls.

I look forward to receiving your gift and reading about who you’d like to honor this Father’s Day.

In Solidarity,

Andrea Edman
Campaign Officer
