When people think of Wyoming, high mountain peaks, majestic open plains and sweeping landscapes covered in sage might be the main things that come to mind. Although these grand vistas are what residents and visitors love about Wyoming, hidden in these landscapes are wetlands and riparian habitats that are fragile and vital to Wyoming’s wildlife.

Governor announces winner of Wild Bison Raffle
The winner of the 2025 wild bison raffle has been announced. The raffle is a component of the Wyoming Governor’s Big Game License Coalition, dedicated to supporting efforts to sustain wildlife populations and enhance critical habitat projects throughout the state. This year’s raffle raised $5,540.
Help protect baby wildlife this season
Elk, deer and pronghorn have begun giving birth to fawns and calves and some of these newborns may be seen in coming weeks. To protect young wildlife, if you encounter a fawn or calf, do not approach, touch or move it. Instead, leave the area and keep children and pets from going near the animal.
The Super Tag raffle gives hunters a second chance to hunt in Wyoming. Winners will hunt in fall of 2026, choose any eligible hunt area in the state and will keep any accumulated preference points. Purchase a Super Tag raffle ticket today for your second chance.
Open 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. MT Monday-Friday
