[ [link removed] ]NY Times: The Senate will hold a marathon series of votes on Trump's
policy bill, with support in doubt.
We have two pieces of good news — and one [ [link removed] ]urgent challenge you can help
with.
First, thanks to sustained grassroots pressure, Democrats in the Senate
held the line all weekend against Donald Trump’s outrageous plan to give
trillions in tax cuts to billionaires paid for with deep cuts to Medicaid,
food assistance for children, and veterans benefits.
Several vulnerable Republican senators are now in a vice, stuck between
Trump and their constituents who will be hurt by this bill. With continued
public pressure, we could get the four Republicans needed to vote “no” and
kill this bill.
Second, we were about to launch a hard-hitting billboard campaign in North
Carolina targeting Republican Senator Thom Tillis – one of the most
vulnerable Republicans up for re-election in 2026. But then Tillis
announced he would vote “no” – and that he will not seek re-election –
citing the overwhelming pressure he’s facing. That’s a huge victory, and
proof that bold action and public accountability work.
Now, here’s the challenge: We need to decide which Republican senator to
target next. That’s where you come in.
Cast your vote for who we pressure next. Then, chip in $5 (or $50) so we
can plaster billboards in their backyard!

Your voice will help make this decision – and your support powers these
billboards that put Republicans on notice: The public is watching, and we
will not let them off the hook for selling out working families for
billionaire tax breaks.
Thanks for being in this fight.
