Hi friend, I’m glad I caught you before June comes to a close.

My team and I have been in touch quite a bit lately, but I assure you we only do it because it’s completely necessary as we approach a crucial fundraising deadline.

Tonight at midnight, we’ll report our second quarter fundraising numbers to the FEC – making them public for all to see.

It means a lot to me that I can truly represent our values in Congress, and that means showing up and speaking out for every inch of this district, and everyone who calls IL-17 home.

Unfortunately, that means nothing to national Republicans, who are desperate for someone who will speak out for Donald Trump and Donald Trump alone, all of us be damned.

That’s what makes our relationship so threatening to them – I’m not a party-line guy, I’m a “what’s best for you” guy.

So when you give, like in critical moments like these, you send a message that our community values real home-grown representation in Congress, not to be bought by the richest or most powerful outside influences. That’s what makes your contribution so powerful.
