Dear A.,

President Trump
[link removed]
posted early this morning, "I am not offering Iran ANYTHING... nor am I even talking to them since we totally OBLITERATED their Nuclear Facilities."

This comes following reports, already rejected by the president, that the United States was considering lifting some economic sanctions on the regime.

President Trump's affirmation of continued sanctions on Iran is critical. Maintaining maximum economic pressure on the regime is essential to solidifying and building on the immense success of the U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran's nuclear program, especially as the regime continues to threaten America and Israel.

A senior Iranian cleric, Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi,

issued a religious decree — a fatwa — calling for the murder of President Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu yesterday.

"With this fatwa, which contains some blatant invitations to violence as a religious commandment, Tehran aims to inspire everyone from its transnational terror cadres to lone-wolf radicals to attack Trump," one expert

said .

Meanwhile, France, Germany and Britain today condemned Iran's "threats" against the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), urged "Iran to immediately resume full cooperation in line with its legally binding obligations, and to take all necessary steps to ensure the safety and security of IAEA personnel."

The United States must ensure Iran is permanently and verifiably blocked from enriching uranium, its ballistic missile program is destroyed, and that sanctions relief doesn't pave the way for Iran to repair and rebuild its proxies across the region.

Our elected officials must continue to ensure the Jewish state has the resources and support it needs to protect its families, confront emerging threats, and continue to fight a multi-front war, including its fight to free all 50 hostages.

Netanyahu's last visit to Washington was in April. This would be his third meeting with the president.

Meanwhile, Israeli Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer arrived in Washington today for high-level meetings.

Reports of Israel-Syria talks

The United States is

reportedly holding "preliminary discussions" with Israel and Syria to advance a potential security agreement between the two countries.

Following the collapse of the Assad regime, a key regional ally of Iran, Israel carried out airstrikes throughout Syria to destroy conventional and chemical weapons and air defense systems. Israeli troops also moved into the buffer zone on the Israel-Syria border and established key outposts on the strategic Mt. Hermon, which overlooks the surrounding region.

Prime Minister Netanyahu told U.S. Syria envoy Tom Barrack in early June that he was interested in negotiating a security agreement with the new Syrian government, with the United States serving as a mediator.

A senior Israeli official

told The Times of Israel today that Israel and Syria are holding "advanced talks" on a bilateral agreement, adding: "Could it develop into something beyond [security arrangements]? We will wait and see."

"There is absolutely an aspiration to expand the Abraham Accords, and it’s no secret that we want to see Syria in this."

Israeli Foreign Minsiter Gideon Sa'ar

said today that Israel "will welcome Syria to the peace and normalization circle in the Middle East," but did not offer any specifics.

IDF foils West Bank terror plot

The IDF announced that it

stopped a Palestinian terrorist cell planning attacks against Israelis, uncovering an explosives lab in Ramallah in the West Bank containing materials used to manufacture bombs.

Several suspects were also arrested.

The United States must continue to stand with Israel as our ally works to prevent terrorist attacks against its people.
