Hello Friends,
Pride month in Philadelphia this year was nothing short of extraordinary! At a time when LGBTQ+ rights are under relentless attack across the country, our city stood tall—celebrating love, resilience, and the power of community. I am incredibly grateful for your dedication to making the month meaningful and ensuring that all members of the LGBTQ+ community feel protected in our city. Here are some of the many highlights from this month.
Pride Kickoff Event
Thank you to everyone who came out to support our second annual Pride Kickoff Event with U.S. Congresswoman Sarah McBride!! The block party brought together community members, allies, and advocates in a vibrant celebration of unity and inclusion. We closed the event by carrying the 400-foot progress flag down the street, symbolizing our ongoing commitment to equality, equity and love in the City of Brotherly Love, Sisterly Affection, and Sibling Solidarity!

Philadelphia’s Pride Parade
Pride is a time to celebrate how far we have come and the resilience needed to get here. I was honored to take part in the Philly’s Pride March & Festival, standing alongside dedicated public servants from all levels of government including Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon and Councilmember Jamie Gauthier. We celebrated the spirit of Pride and reaffirmed that it is a vital part of our city’s identity. The leadership and giving spirit of our community continues to be a powerful force for progress and inclusive change.

Great Organizations in Philly
This month, I had the chance to connect with so many incredible people. One highlight was joining Valley Youth House for their Stand In Pride event, which brought together LGBTQ+ vendors and organizations from across the city to support queer Philadelphians with housing, healthcare, and community resources.

Pride Throughout the City
It is more important than ever to remember WHY we have pride.
As we close out Pride Month, I am more committed than ever to building a Philadelphia where every LGBTQ+ person can live with dignity, safety, and pride. The attacks on our community across the country are real—and they require us to stay vigilant, organized, and hopeful. Pride is not just a month; it is a commitment we renew every single day.
Your support makes this work possible. If you’re able, I hope you’ll consider making a contribution to help us continue fighting for equality and protecting the rights of LGBTQ+ Philadelphians. Together, we can keep building a city that truly lives up to its promise of justice and inclusion for all.
