Friend,

As we celebrate Father's Day this weekend, thousands of migrant fathers are fighting to be reunited with their kids and families.

The devastating impacts of President Trump’s cruel family separation policies continue to harm too many Black, Brown, AAPI, and Indigenous families to this day. And in recent weeks, the brazen murders of George Floyd and Rayshard Brooks show our criminal justice system consistently targets rather than protects Black lives. They were also loving fathers whose children must now, tragically, spend Father’s Day without their dads.

Help us honor the families that have been torn apart by uplifting their stories and demanding an end to these cruel policies.

Share the #PowerOfAFathersLove for Father’s Day! Watch and share the stories of fathers separated from their families and demand justice.

This week, we’re sharing stories of Black and Brown asylum-seeking fathers, torn from their families, whose actions show the #PowerOfAFathersLove in spite of the government’s cruelty.

These are just some of the many stories of fathers who have experienced forced family separation over the past few months:

A father contracted COVID-19 while in a detention center in Otay Mesa. While now free, he fights to support his two children and wants everyone to know what is happening in detention centers across America.

A Cuban father has been in detention for over a year in El Paso and has only limited contact with his wife and daughter.

A father was separated from his pregnant wife due to President Trump’s Remain in Mexico policy and the COVID-19 border shutdown.

And now, the Trump Administration is using COVID-19 as an excuse to separate even more families. Separating families is always wrong, but in the middle of a pandemic, this cruelty also puts everyone at risk.

Enough is enough. Join the #PowerOfAFathersLove campaign now.

This Father's Day, let’s take a moment to fight for all the dads who won’t be able to spend it with their families.

Thank you for standing with fathers and families everywhere,
