Bipartisan Gonzalez bill will keep the US ahead of China, others in AI efforts Anthony has introduced bipartisan legislation directing the federal government to grow and sustain a national research cloud for artificial intelligence. China and others have upped their own efforts in an attempt to surpass the U.S. Anthony said he expects the legislation will "help establish a framework for the use of AI in the U.S. that can ensure our innovators are able to lead on the global stage long into the future." Runway prepares to reopen, renovated using funds sought by Gonzalez The Wayne County Airport will reopen its runway for the first time in over a month. The runway was closed on May 4 to start construction on a new full-length parallel taxiway. Anthony helped secure $5 million of federal funding for the project, which will facilitate greater economic development in the region.
