Dear John,
We are excited to announce two incredible additions to the MPAC team: Preston Nouri and Yusef Burpee.
Preston Nouri joins us as our Director of Government Affairs, bringing years of experience in federal and legislative affairs. His career includes roles at the U.S. House of Representatives, State Department, and Department of Defense. In addition to his public service, Preston has deep community ties as a small business owner and former candidate for U.S. Congress. His leadership will strengthen MPAC’s advocacy on Capitol Hill and expand our impact on key policy issues.
Yusef Burpee joins us as our Administrative Assistant, supporting our day-to-day operations and organizational effectiveness. Yusef brings a diverse background in nonprofit operations, data analytics, and communications, with experience at HitCommand, Blizzard Entertainment, and the Aldeen Foundation. His strategic mindset and attention to detail will be essential to our growing team.
Please join us in welcoming Preston and Yusef to MPAC. We’re thrilled to have them on board as we continue our mission to advance policies that protect and empower American Muslims.
In Service,
Haris Tarin
Vice President of Policy and Programming
Muslim Public Affairs Council
