I’m writing a quick note while I take a coffee break.
As we prepare to close the books on our fundraising for the quarter, I just want to say thank you. This grassroots team gives me so much hope.
Hope that we can still build politics of grace not grievance, a politics that puts people over the profits of the powerful.
Hope that we can cut through the noise and get real things done for working families.
Hope that, even in difficult moments, we can still choose compassion, fairness, and progress.
Because right now, we’re seeing the opposite. The GOP’s big, ugly bill is a reminder of everything we’re up against — a proposal that robs regular people of health care to reward billionaires.
While they double down on their cruelty, I’m holding onto something stronger: this grassroots movement.
So as we head into the final hours of this end-of-quarter deadline, I just want to say thank you — for powering this campaign, for believing in a better way, and for giving me the fuel I need to keep up the fight.
