Public Safety

• Sued the Trump administration to block the release of illegal machinegun conversion devices
• Took on gun manufacturers and defended Maryland’s common-sense gun safety laws

Standing Up for Public Workers

• Challenged the mass firings of federal workers ordered by the Trump administration
• Defended the due process rights of Maryland’s public servants

Protecting Democracy and Civil Rights

• Filed a brief defending the Voting Rights Act and the right of individuals to sue when their rights are violated
• Continued our racial equity work through Maryland’s Civil Rights Division and Office of Equity, Policy, and Engagement

Protecting Science, Health Care, and Research

• Fought to protect Medicaid and Social Security from federal rollbacks
• Advocated for abortion and gender-affirming care providers facing politically motivated threats
• Filed suit to protect youth from dangerous, discredited conversion “therapy” practices
• Took legal action to defend life-saving research funding at Maryland’s world-class universities
