When the Supreme Court decided June 18th in LW v. Skrmetti that Tennessee can continue to ban hormone related care for trans youth, our team swiftly responded, pushing resources out on social and providing framework for what this specific SCOTUS decision does and doesn’t do.
As our communities navigate the impact of the Skrmetti ruling alongside other rulings by SCOTUS this term, TLC will be here, meeting immediate legal needs while strengthening movement ecosystems—because we know that courts are just one facet of a much larger strategy in the fight for the world we all deserve, and that our power has always come from each other. Here at TLC we will continue:

Investing in grassroots trans leadership, including trans youth leadership through our array of programs and collaborations

Responding to increased need for legal information from community members in a range of circumstances, including those who are incarcerated
Combating anti-trans disinformation including through webinars, resources for journalists, and our cross-movement Narrative Lab
