John, I wanted to share some good news and bad news with you.

The good news is that our movement is surging with momentum.

Together, we've been able to mobilize the progressive coalition to support Jamaal, with endorsements from the likes of Alessandra Biaggi, AOC, Bernie Sanders, and Elizabeth Warren.

Thousands of people across New York's 16th District and the nation are now invested in this race and are giving us their support — and, as a result, Eliot Engel is facing his most competitive primary challenge in 20 years.

But the bad news? Eliot Engel isn't far behind — and his allies have now spent more than $5 million to halt our momentum in its tracks.

That's $5 million on ugly TV spots, negative digital ads, campaign attack literature, and spewing shameful lies — all in a desperate attempt to stop us. With the political establishment, corporate lobbyists, and pro-Trump super PACs on his side, Eliot Engel will spend even more leading into Tuesday's election to attack our grassroots campaign.

We need to keep our fundraising up through the weekend so we can fully counteract the negative ads that Eliot Engel and his allies are running. Will you make a contribution to our campaign tonight?

We're not taking our recent momentum for granted — unlike Eliot Engel, who has been taking us for granted all these years. It's going to take all of us, doing everything we possibly can, to give Jamaal a fighting chance at victory.

But rather than resorting to desperate attacks to gain support, we're doing what we do best: talking to folks in our community.

We've been getting out the vote all over the Bronx and Westchester the past few days with our teams of volunteers — distributing literature, putting up posters, and helping out at early voting stations. We're continuing to reach out to undecided voters, help voters make plans to cast their ballots safely, and run informative digital ads to keep Jamaal Bowman top of mind.
