Right now, Senate Democrats and I are on the floor fighting to defeat Donald Trump and Senate Republicans’ awful bill. This bill is bad. It’s bad for people, and it’s bad for the future of our country. We are using all the tools we have to fight, but we need everyone to do all they can.

Honestly, this bill is terrible -- it’s a rotting fish. And the more time it gets in the sun, the more people are going to realize how bad it stinks. Just take a look:
1. Biggest wealth transfer in American history
2. Kills the solar industry, raising prices
3. Cuts Medicaid by almost a trillion dollars
4. Will shut down nursing homes
5. Cause energy shortages
6. Adds $4.5 trillion in NEW DEBT
The stakes here are clear: it’s people’s health, people’s hard-earned money, and people’s lives.
