As Congress prepares to consider Trump’s so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” for final passage, I wanted to remind you that this Republican bill is a giant scam on the American people. It threatens healthcare coverage for millions of Americans on Medicaid, and will do untold damage to SNAP benefits — impacting the 197,000 people in my district who rely on that assistance to put food on the table.
This bill represents a radical transfer of wealth, taking from programs that support the poor to pay for handouts to the rich, and I’m doing everything I can to fight back.
