Hello,

As Pride Month comes to a close, I wanted to check in with you: In the past year, I’ve seen the best of what our community can be. I’ve witnessed firsthand the impact that The Center has on those we serve. Every day, The Center is the first stop for hundreds in our community who are in need. Here, all LGBTQ+ people can gather without fear, express themselves fully, access critical services, and experience healing and joy. All year long, and especially during Pride month, The Center is a sanctuary.

Pride is more than a celebration—it is power in action, forged through unity, resistance, and unyielding visibility. Our community is facing an onslaught of violence, discriminatory legislation, hate-fueled public rhetoric, and destructive policies. These attacks don't just exist in headlines, they have real impact and have ended up right at The Center’s front door.

But we’re not backing down! The Center has proudly joined Lambda Legal and eight other LGBTQ+ organizations across the country in a federal lawsuit to remind everyone that when someone comes for any of us—whether it be our trans siblings, youth, those in our community living with HIV, or people of color—they come for all of us.
