Friends -- it's Katie, Joe Biden's National Finance Director. I'm reaching out to ask you to pitch in $5 to our campaign to defeat Donald Trump.
I know that the emails are piling up, but if you take a look at a few of the latest developments out of the Trump campaign below, you'll understand why we have to keep asking.
FIRST: Trump held his first in-person fundraiser in months in Dallas on June 11th, which his team had projected to raise at least $10 million.
THEN: We learned that on Donald Trump's birthday last weekend, his campaign had their single-greatest online fundraising day EVER, hauling in a staggering $14 million.
AND NOW: He's holding a huge campaign rally tonight in Tulsa, Oklahoma, ignoring social distancing guidelines. We can only imagine how much money he'll raise following media coverage of his first rally of the summer.
Look, if you've gotten my emails before, you know that I don't take asking for money lightly.
But, you can clearly see that Donald Trump's war chest is growing deeper by the day, and while we don't need to match his bank account dollar for dollar, we do need to generally keep pace so that his message isn't heard the loudest by undecided voters.
Taking a look at your supporter record, it looks like you haven't donated yet this month. I know it's a hard time to donate, but if you can pitch in your first $5 before our end-of-quarter deadline at the end of this month, you'll help us keep pace with Trump's money-machine »
If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: |
