I am going to ask you to make a $25 donation to my campaign, but before I do, I want you to know why I am running for reelection.

I immigrated here with my family at a young age and watched as my mother struggled, working two jobs and going to night classes to learn English. We came here in search of a better life, and while we found it, it makes my heart break to see that the same struggles we faced then are being faced now by so many Americans all across the country.

I have dedicated the last twenty years of my life to multiple nonprofit organizations, all with the intent of making our home a better place to live. Now, as a Congresswoman, I can do this on a much larger scale.

In just the last month, I have called for equitable access to COVID-19 testing in black communities, demanded hurricane preparedness plans and reimbursements for previous hurricanes in Florida and have called out community dissatisfaction with Florida's unemployment system and demanded changes.

I work tirelessly every day to serve this community because I love it and want to see it shine as bright as it can. But my race is considered a complete toss-up, and if my opponent takes my seat, all of our hard work will be undone.

Please, if you can, donate $25 to my campaign right now so that I can continue to serve and improve our community for generations to come.

Thank you,

Debbie
