Tuesday is going to be a huge day!
Jamaal Bowman, Charles Booker, Dr. Cameron Webb, Jackie Gordon, and Mondaire Jones all have their primary elections this Tuesday.
They are all leaders and change-makers whose lived experiences reflect the communities they serve. I am proud to support each of their campaigns for Congress.
With only three days until the primary elections, these campaigns need the resources to engage voters and run strong Get Out the Vote efforts.
Jamaal Bowman is a fierce progressive and educator who is running in New York’s 16th District. Jamaal will work in Congress to advance bold solutions — like fighting to end mass incarceration and working to actualize the People’s Justice Guarantee.
Charles Booker is running for Senate in Kentucky to defeat Mitch McConnell. His campaign has had a surge of momentum, and I know that he will fight his heart out to serve the people of Kentucky in the Senate.
Dr. Cameron Webb is committed to helping communities respond to and recover from the COVID-19 crisis. He’ll be a powerful advocate for his neighbors in Virginia’s 5th District and serve their interests in Congress.
Throughout his career, Mondaire Jones has demonstrated his commitment to lifting up the voices of those who have been left out and left behind for too long. Now, we must ensure that he can carry those experiences and those voices with him to the halls of Congress to represent New York’s 17th District.
Jackie Gordon is an immigrant, a veteran, an educator, a mother, and an effective leader. Jackie will be a bold advocate on issues of consequence to the people of New York’s 2nd district, from health care to education to gun violence.
Representation matters. Black candidates matter. We need these bold leaders in Congress.
