I might be a total stranger to you, so I’ll spare you the political talking points and speak to you like the regular ol’ guy that I am:
Just about everyone you ask would agree that the US Senate race in Georgia is the grandaddy of ‘em all. The Holy Grail. The big kahuna.
That’s why I didn’t make the decision to run lightly. It was the hardest decision I’ve ever made. But I knew I would work my tail off to win for the good of the country.
When I announced, I also knew that this first End-of-Quarter deadline would be the most important benchmark of the entire campaign.
We would either project strength, help clear the primary field, and send chills down the spine of National Democrats… OR we’d come up short, show weakness, and embolden my sitting Democrat opponent, Jon Ossoff.
Well, now push is coming to shove and I’m trailing about 9% short of my first quarterly fundraising goal.
I didn’t want to ask you for anything this early on, but I can’t afford to come up short. Not even by a penny. This is the single most competitive race in the country so any deficit could make the difference between winning and losing.
