Dear Friends:
What a week it was here in New York. Voters in the five boroughs made it clear: they’re ready for bold, transformational change. No more status quo, no more political machines, and no more establishment politics.
Zohran Mamdani won because he promised a new way forward—and a solution to the affordability crisis that is driving people out of New York. He ran against an out-of-touch establishment candidate, with no real vision for the future, propped up by a campaign war chest filled with corporate PAC money. Sound familiar?
His win is a reminder that the Democratic establishment is beatable. That better things are possible. Antonio is running against that same Democratic establishment in his campaign for governor. He’s running to make New York more affordable and to represent the people—not party elites, not corporate power, and not special interests. The people.
Below, you’ll find some highlights from this week. Thanks for reading, and please keep an eye out for another update next week.
Yours in this fight,
Team Delgado
