I know you’re probably getting a lot of fundraising emails right now. I get it. Really, I do.

But I wouldn’t reach out today if it weren’t important.

We’re just a day away from our end-of-quarter deadline. That means our fundraising numbers will go public for everyone to see—the press, the national Republicans, and all the outside groups ready to flood NY-03 with negative ads.

This is one of the most competitive districts in the country. In order to win as a Democrat, you need thousands of crossover voters—people who vote for me and for Republicans for other elected offices. If we’re going to get that, we need resources to communicate our message. And this grassroots movement is a huge part of that.

I know you’ve stood with me through a lot, and I’m grateful for that. But if you can manage a contribution today, it will go a long way toward showing we’re not backing down.
