Crates were lined up on the runway, each holding a dog or cat scared but safe—finally on their way to a future filled with love and hope.

That’s what Operation Red, White, & Rescue is all about. And this year, it’s more urgent than ever.

Right now, more than 80 shelter pets—rescued from overcrowded shelters and heartbreaking situations in Louisiana—are waiting for their chance to fly to safety.

A shelter in Wisconsin is standing by, ready to welcome these animals with open arms. But unless we can fund their flight by July 1, they’ll be left behind.

These pets don’t need fireworks. They need freedom.
