Hi friend --
LGBTQ+ Americans have just scored a major civil rights victory, as the Supreme Court has ruled against workplace discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity.
But that ruling could now have an even wider impact on civil rights. Some experts are saying that the Trump administration's recent move to allow health care providers to deny care to transgender patients could be undone by the Supreme Court's decision.
According to president of the Human Rights Campaign Alphonso David, on the heels of SCOTUS's decision, "We are expecting the administration to rescind their rule immediately. If they don't, we are prepared to continue to use all of our resources, including litigation, to sue them and make sure that the rule is never implemented."
One victory demands another -- and with workplace protections now secured, we need you to fight with us to ensure LGBTQ+ Americans are protected at the doctor's office, too. Are you in? Tell us now:
