One Big Beautiful Bill Act
House Republicans crafted and passed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBB) to cut taxes, lower costs for Main Street, create jobs, and benefit all Americans. This pro-economy and pro-worker legislation unleashes growth by rewarding hard work and leveling the playing field for small businesses and working families. Most importantly, the OBBB makes President Trump’s 2017 tax cuts permanent, avoiding the largest tax hike in American history that will destroy small businesses and kill American jobs. Without the OBBB, the average taxpayer in TX-25 would see a 23% tax increase upon the expiration of Trump tax cuts. I am committed to delivering the generational investments needed to Make America Great Again.
Introduced Two Bills to Restore Energy Market Integrity
As we usher in the Golden Age of America, we must return power to the American people, not bureaucrats or special interests. Whether it’s letting manufacturers innovate or ending taxpayer-funded green giveaways, it’s time to cater to Main Street and let the market, not Washington, decide what powers America’s future. I introduced the Fuel Emissions Freedom Act and the Stop the Subsidized Green Energy Scam Act to restore regulatory sanity, protect taxpayers, and defend free-market principles in both the automotive and energy sectors. House Committee on Small Business
This week, I led a hearing on securing America’s mineral future. Small businesses drive U.S. innovation, but the lack of domestic production threatens national security and stifles growth. Minerals used in the manufacturing process of batteries, magnets, computers, and medical devices, are vital to our economy. Watch my opening statement here.
In Case You Missed It!
After years of crippling inflation and heavy-handed regulation, Main Street is ready for a comeback. I joined WBAP and the The David Webb Show to discuss the latest. Also, be sure to read this week's opinion pieces in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and Newsweek.
