USDA Secretary Rollins just proposed rescinding the Roadless Rule -- threatening 58 million acres of our national forests.1 We’re rallying forest defenders around Colorado to speak out against this proposal before it's finalized. • Protect bees, butterflies and more from deadly pesticides: Neonicotinoids are 1,000 times more deadly to bees than DDT, and they're used on tens of millions of acres across the U.S.2 Colorado has already limited some uses of bee-killing pesticides, and now we're calling on state leaders to tackle neonic-coated seeds. • Stop the worst forms of single-use plastics from flooding our environment: Every year, an estimated 8 million tons of plastic waste ends up in our oceans.3 That's not to mention the piles of plastic waste littering our neighborhoods and local waterways.
