Today your gift goes 5X as far —
Support children on the move >>
From conflict in Gaza and drought in Sudan to the war in Ukraine, unrelenting crises are forcing children from their homes. For many, it means leaving everything behind without knowing when — or if — they might return.
No matter where a child is from, or why they were forced to leave, a child is a child — and they deserve care, protection and safety. UNICEF is working to reach children wherever they are with the resources and support they need.
Just until tomorrow, you can make an even greater impact for the children who need it most.
Your 5X matched gift will be vital in powering UNICEF’s response for children and preventing suffering in the future. Give before this match ends and make a life-changing impact >>
In Bangladesh, 2-year-old Sofiba suffered from severe malnutrition and was rushed to the hospital, where she received lifesaving malnutrition treatment. Sofiba is among half a million Rohingya refugee children who have spent up to seven years in exile from their home country.
In Ukraine, 7-year-old Hlib attends an art therapy session. He and his younger sister were injured when their village came under fire, forcing their family to flee. After several years of war, they remain traumatized. UNICEF is providing psychosocial support to help them begin to heal.
In a makeshift school in Uganda, 28-year-old Afrah teaches her younger siblings and neighbors. More than 100,000 people from South Sudan and other countries have found refuge in Uganda, but being forced to flee means many children have had their education interrupted. UNICEF is providing school supplies and materials to help get children back on track in temporary learning spaces.
Thank you,
