Delgado for New York

Hey, it's Antonio.

I get questions about how this kid from Schenectady…

Antonio as a toddler sits on a kid-sized chair with one leg crossed over the other.

Grew up to flip a deep-red congressional district and become the Lt. Governor of New York.

Antonio holds a microphone and speaks out to a crowd of people at a rally.

It wasn’t always easy. But, my parents worked hard to pull us to the middle class and ingrain strong values of determination and perseverance.

Young Antonio stands between his parents wearing his graduation cap and gown.

I learned from the lessons they instilled and attended Colgate University and was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship before I earned a law degree from Harvard, where I met my wife, Lacey.

Antonio and his wife Lacey hold their young sons while standing in front of their house.

The values my parents instilled in me growing up are the same values that carried through my first campaign for Congress.

After the 2016 election, it was clear that the rules had changed. Our leaders in Washington were no longer working to give working people a fair playing field. So in 2018, I ran for Congress as an underdog in a tough district – and won.

A headline from the New York Times reads "Antonio Delgado upsets John Faso as 3 House Republicans fall to NY Democrats"

Now, I’m running for Governor of New York. The status quo is failing our communities – and the people of New York deserve someone who will fight for them, not the wealthy corporations.

I have plans to make housing affordable, healthcare accessible, and child care universal. But to turn those plans into reality, we need to win this race.

And to be blunt, our ability to win is going to come down to whether or not we can raise the resources we need.

Kathy Hochul has corporate PACs lined up to support her. I won’t run a campaign that way. I refuse to take a cent from corporate PACs – because I only want to be accountable to you, the people.

I’m hopeful you’ll join me.

Please – if you can afford to make a donation of $10 to my campaign, I hope you’ll chip in today. Any amount helps us bring transformative change to New York. Thank you in advance.

Antonio
