• Going to court to protect access to emergency abortion care for pregnant women in medical crisis through the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA), even in states with extreme abortion bans
• Going to court to represent 17 state domestic violence and sexual assault organizations to stop Trump's illegal certifications holding Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) funds hostage
• Fighting to keep all students, including LGBTQ+ students safe at school by restoring Title IX protections and calling out discriminatory policies at schools
• Putting pressure on Congress to stop Trump’s devastating budget bill and protect essential funding for Medicare, SNAP, student aid programs
• Opposing extremist judicial nominees to build a judiciary comprised of fair-minded judges who are committed to the rule of law and upholding everyone's civil rights

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. This month the Supreme Court announced decisions on major cases related to birthright citizenship, censorship in public schools, workplace discrimination policies, and access to medical treatment for LGBTQ+ kids. RFK Jr. is undermining our access to lifesaving vaccines and ending vital science funding. Trump is pushing every boundary, even sending U.S. troops into our cities to intimidate protestors from exercising their rights.

The National Women’s Law Center has been at the forefront of every major gender justice fight for the last 50 years, and we won’t back down no matter what Trump and his allies throw our way. NWLC lawyers, researchers, and advocates know how to fight, and how to win—but we can only do it with your help.
