Senate Republicans just moved to start debate on a bill that is even worse than you think it is.
But it isn’t over. We are doing everything we can to delay and fight. The more time people have to hear about the bill and what it will do to Medicaid, rural hospitals, energy costs, and food assistance, the more people will realize that we need to defeat this bill.
We need to organize, speak out, and raise resources. We are running out of time. Please, donate if you can.

I’ve seen a lot of bad bills during my time in the Senate, but I have never seen one so full of unpopular and dangerous policies. This bill would:
- Throw millions of people off their health care.
- Shut down rural hospitals and clinics.
- Cut food assistance for people who rely on an average of just six dollars a day to eat.
- Kill the solar industry, creating an electricity shortage that will raise energy costs.
Now, here’s the good news: Senate Republicans are not there yet.
We’ve faced threats like this before. When they came for the Affordable Care Act seven years ago we mobilized, big time. We rallied. We called. We lobbied. We protested peacefully. And we won.
This month, we saw the largest public demonstrations in American history. People in every corner of the country coming together, peacefully, to stand up for what’s right. That’s the power of a citizens' movement.
This is the moment. It’s happening right now, on the Senate floor. We have to hold the line. If you’re in a position to give, please make a contribution.
Let’s do this together.
Mahalo,
Brian
