As the Body of Christ gathers in various congregations around the state today, consider this…
What would our state look like if, over the next year-and-a-half, the Church took seriously the process of discerning who God was raising up for leadership of Georgia?
And, what if it were believers – acting in accordance with the Lord’s will – who selected the men and women being called to such lofty positions at the ballot box?
We can do this! God has given us the numbers, His Word (which should unite us), and the opportunity to decide the future of our state!
I recently read again in 1 Samuel 16, where David is selected and anointed as the rightful King of Israel. It’s always been a fascinating story, but here’s the part the stuck out to me this time:
In Verse 11, Samuel says “Send for him (referring to David). We will not sit down until he arrives.”
In waiting for the leader God had raised up, Samuel had great anticipation. An eagerness. A sense of energetic responsibility. A restless hope. He trusted God had the right leader, and he was anxious to meet him.
When was the last time we approached an election this way!?
Already, the battle for 2026 has begun. Prospective candidates are stepping forward and working to win your support for both the primary and general elections. Many that I consider to be good friends and strong allies are now official candidates – some of whom are already running against each other.
While some will make political calculations and look, as even Samuel was tempted to do, at outward factors, Frontline is committed to discerning who God is raising up, who will prayerfully and humbly lead, and who shares a zeal for the King and His people.
Can I count on you to stand with us as we discern who God is raising up, pray for them and partner with them, and, ultimately, engage the church to take action? Your support – with us now one day away from our fiscal-year-end matters. [[link removed]]
Will you stand with us by making a donation of any amount to help us reach our goal? [[link removed]]
After Samuel refused to sit, the command he receives from the Lord is “Rise and anoint him.”
One can imagine Samuel, upon seeing David, collapsing into a restful seated position – grateful to have found who God had called.
But, then, he had to take action. He had to rise and anoint.
As we approach this election season, we are working to see the Church take action. We must pray for the process, for the candidates, and for discernment. We must ask the right questions, hold up the right standards, and look for what God looks for.
This is the Frontline plan. Pray. Discern. Engage our audience. Then, as the Lord makes His will known, TAKE ACTION. Rise. Vote. Anoint.
While the threats before our state are very real, I am engaging with hope. We will not rest and our goal is simple – follow the Lord’s leading and see the Body of Christ choose our next leaders. We have a great opportunity to witness, engage to win, and bless our neighbor!
But, this process requires support. Can you donate $25, $50, $100 or more today? [[link removed]]
I look forward to this journey together.
To Victory,
