Hi John,

As you know, Trump’s Super PAC is dumping $300,000 into TV ads against me. No one saw this coming, and to be frank we weren’t prepared to have to defend ourselves this early.

Trump knows this seat is vulnerable, and he’s trying to turn voters against me as early as possible. The worst part? These false ads are probably going to work.

I have to be able to respond, but we simply don’t have the money to do it this early. We’re just a few days out from our end-of-quarter deadline — and if we fall short, we won’t be able to keep up.

Here’s what’s at stake if we don’t reach our goal:

* Our rapid response ads won’t go up.
* We can’t hire organizers.
* Voters turn against us, early.

We’ve never been out-organized and I want to keep it that way. Will you chip in today so we can meet our end-of-quarter goal and push back before it’s too late? [[link removed]]
