Herbert,

It’s hard to believe we’re already approaching our second end-of-the-quarter deadline.

We’ve been working overtime, responding to daily attacks on our democracy from Washington while responding to constituent needs back home in the district. So far, my team and I have:

• Passed two meaningful and bipartisan bills to improve port security and connect skilled workers to jobs.
• Responded to nearly 80,000 calls, emails and letters from constituents.
• Helped 700 constituents navigate Social Security and Medicare, access veterans benefits and much more.

We have so much planned for the weeks ahead, including more town halls, incredible constituent service and common sense legislation. Of course, my top priority will continue to be defending democracy in Congress, the courts and our community.
